Buying a home can be a stressful process. Buying a foreclosed home or a relocation property can be even more stressful if buyers are not adequately guided through the process and prepared for how the process works.

We get many calls from buyers who want a good deal on a property. We typically have many listings to choose from, but if we don’t have what you are looking for in our inventory, we do have access to all listings found in the Triangle Multiple Listing Service and can assist you in finding what you are looking for. In order to help you find a property that fits your needs you will need to determine the following:

1). Step One: Determine What Fits Your Needs

The first objective, whether you are considering a home to live in or an investment property is to determine what you want. Price range, location, number of bedrooms, condition, amenities are just some of the criteria you may consider.

2). Determine What You Can Afford

You will need to determine what you can afford. Talk to a reputable and qualified loan officer or mortgage broker and get a copy of a pre-approval letter. This will save you time when searching for a home, and all corporate sellers will require either a qualification letter from a lender or a proof of funds statement if you are paying cash.

Have you located a home you want to set up a showing for? Looking for an agent to give you the best advice?
