Jeanette discovered the Southwest and its unique houses in a roundabout way. She was born in Berlin, raised in Toronto, and married in London before settling first in New York and then in sunny Las Cruces. With an M.A. in English she was a writer for Camera Press in London before becoming their U.S. agent in Manhattan and has written books and numerous articles - most recently on homes in New Mexico and the real estate business. As a licensed Realtor and 2004 President of the Women's Council of Realtors in Las Cruces. Jeanette was the company's top producer in 2005 and honored as a National Masters Club Masters Ruby Producer. A world traveler, Dave retired after 34 years of government service with the U.S. Department of Defense as an engineering technician. "Welcome to Las Cruces". These have to be my most favorite words. Those were the very first words my family heard when we arrived here in the late 1980's. After moving and traveling world wide, I knew this would be "Home" forever.
I am a proud mother of 3. Two US Marine sons and a beautiful 17 year old daughter. Raising children today can be very difficult, but our experience here, in this community, has been wonderful. And, I wish the same for you. I am grateful for our educators, and all others, who have given us so much support along the way. Not once, did I ever feel I was raising them alone.
I understand first hand, the moving process can be very stressful. It is life changing for every member of the family, including all critters. Just know, you're not alone.
